Review MotoAlliance 66 inch DENALI UTV Snow Plow Kit – CFMoto UForce 800

Throw Snow the DENALI Way DENALI Standard Series UTV Snow Plows are made to handle the toughest conditions and hold up against sand, snow and ice. With a 65 degree attack angle and over center design, the plow blade ensures snow rolls up and is thrown forward. The central mounting position of the plow kit disperses the force of impact to the sturdiest part of the UTV / SxS, preventing damage to the front end or other vehicle parts from sudden impact. Our easy-connect design makes for a quick attachment of the plow to your UTV. The plow kit includes a wear bar and skid feet. The durable snow plow mount plate is specifically engineered to fit the frame of your UTV and can remain on your vehicle year round. Accessories Fully kit out your DENALI plow with a rubber flap, plow flags/markers, plow pulley fairlead, and synthetic cable, all available to purchase separately. Plow Pulley Designed to resist wear & tear from the steep angle that occurs between the winch and the plow, the optional Plow Pulley fairlead replaces the winch fairlead during the plow season and extends the life of your lift system. Mounting MotoAlliance offers a vast assortment of vehicle-specific mount plates to fit your ATV/UTV/SxS. Simply affix the mount plate to your machine and leave it on year-round, only attaching the plow when you need it. Buyer Guide Snow Plow Attachments & Accessories

Winter is fast approaching, and that can mean only one thing: snow. Snow can wreak havoc on roads, pavement, and parking lots. Snow plows are the best tools to prevent accidents from occurring on slippery surfaces.

  • Check the size of your vehicle. Do some online research to see what the size of your vehicle is. Then, look for a snow plow that will fit.
  • Check the plow’s width. The width of a plow should be at least 3.5 inches wider than your vehicle’s width.
  • Check the plow’s length. The length of a plow should be at least 5 inches longer than your vehicle’s length.
  • Check the plow’s height. The height of a plow should be at least 1 inch taller than your vehicle’s height, but no more than 2 inches higher.
  • Check coverage. Check the coverage to determine whether your vehicle can clear snow.
  • Check attachment compatibility. Check the attachment compatibility to see what your vehicle is compatible with.
  • Check blade strength. Blades should be strong enough to handle the weight of your vehicle.
  • Check the plow’s weight. Plows typically weigh from 300 to 600 pounds.

How to choose Snow Plow Attachments & Accessories

When purchasing a snow plow, there are several important factors to consider:

  • How big is your property? The length of the driveway and the amount of snow that your driveway receives will largely determine the type of snow plow that you will need.
  • How much snow does it typically snow in your area? Snow plows that can handle heavy snow and ice accumulations are your best bet if you live in an area that receives a lot of snowfall.
  • How much are you willing to spend? Snow plows range in price from $150-$2,000, with the most expensive options being designed for commercial snow removal.
  • What kind of plow do you need? Snow plows can be attached to a variety of vehicles, including pickup trucks, ATVs, and UTVs, and there are a variety of attachments that are available to help plow through different types of snow.
  • What type of blades do you need? Snow plows can have a variety of blade styles, including straight, curved, and combination. Straight blades are used for plowing snow, while combination blades are ideal for heavy-duty plowing.

How to maintain Snow Plow Attachments & Accessories

Maintaining your snow plow attachment and accessories doesn’t have to be difficult, but it needs to be done regularly to help ensure that your equipment works when you need it most.

  • Get your blade sharpened often. Snow plow blades should be sharp and smooth, so it’s important to get them sharpened regularly. Ask your vendor how often they can sharpen your blades, and what it will cost.
  • Check your plows frequently. You should inspect every single snow plow attachment and accessory on your vehicles regularly. Look for signs of wear, such as cracks or dents, and make sure the attachments are attached securely.
  • Test your snow plow attachments. Each snow plow attachment should be tested regularly to make sure it is working properly.
  • Clean your plows frequently. Dirt and debris can build up quickly on your plows, and over time, this can cause the plows to malfunction. You should also clean your plows regularly, as dirt can gather inside the blades, reducing their effectiveness.
